TJ
is a cowboy from the city……..Syracuse, New York His
career started on a dare, May 30th, 1993, his 21st birthday.
TJ who loves a challenge bought a guitar, sound system, and practiced
vigorously. TJ’s
friends and family packed a downtown establishment and watched in awe as
TJ surpassed any expectations of this “dare”.
The glimmer in his eyes, the strength of his presence had the
crowd looking at each other, TJ found his place – he was meant to
perform. Years
have been devoted to musical research and hours of daily practice.
This dedication and life experiences gave him inspiration to
write original songs. Fans
enjoy his country style combining country classic with current, and a
little bit of “rock ‘n roll”. TJ
then devoted a year in Nashville, Tennessee.
While playing at the “hot” spots on Broadway, like Legends,
The Stage and Second Fiddle fans books gigs as far away as Alabama and
Kentucky. TJ absorbed the
further knowledge and skill he craved.
He was able to return to Syracuse to perform and use his
additional experiences to entertain fans of all ages. TJ
continues to entertain at the New York State Fair and throughout central
New York area acoustically and with his band. A
major influence on his music has been Gary Allen, Merle Haggard and
Waylon Jennings, yet, he still maintains his own unique voice, style and
stage presence. TJ’s
Nashville recorded CD includes “Why’d It Take Me So Long”, a song
dedicated to his father, “Angel
on My Shoulder”, dedicated to his mother and “Thank God She’s
Gone”, bidding good riddance to a two-timing girlfriend. Check
